Hello,
First post. Just ordered a pro plus in faded tobacco from zzounds for $599. I cannot believe the price. Similar guitars are going for 1200. Mahogany body, quilted maple top,
Birds eye with ebony fret board neck, SD pearly gates humbucker and two SD lil screaming devils stacked pickups and a Floyd copy. I should get it by Monday.
I have been playing for the past 18 years; the first 5 years I had a Charvel model 2 which I Truly loved. Unfortunately the neck snapped off while I was throwing the guitar to my friend back in the day. After that I only played Gibson LP and my tele. So, I am super excited to do my first dive on the whammy in 13 years.
I would love to hear other people’s thoughts on this model; I bought this guitar based on features and looks alone and my 80’s glamour band memories. I must say I prefer the start head look alike to the pointy ones. I know I will keep this guitar for the rest of my living years. Every one needs a speed machine. Just got tired of 60’s and 70’s Classic Rock tones. I was in need of variety.
