Dating a Predator....

Hi Guys !

I just got a aged White Predator. I was wondering if someone could tell me more about it. The back plate says Fort Worth, TX and the S/N is 313785. It has a JT6 trem, 1 single coil and a J80-C. I just cleaned it up fully and it plays and sounds awesome ! I love it. Thanks in advance for any info.

I was looking at this MIJ serial post the other day and it might help.

From the info it looks like an 1988. From the info I've been reading you probably have a 3DR which was the model the Predaotor took the place of.

Maybe someone else can chime in and confirm.

If it has the "guitar logo" on a reverse head, it is a 3DR. A regular single coil with six polepieces also makes me think 3DR. THe Predator has the "toothpaste logo on a reverse head, and a "hot rails" type single coil at the neck. Also, I believe the JT-6 was only on the 3DR and the Predator had a schaller. Either way, you got a cool guitar. I want a predator so badly. Hope that helps!
