Hey all. Just got a Japanese Charvel. I paid $203 on Ebay. Looks like Pearl White with a Kahler. It's in new condition. Serial is 224037. What year would that be?

The serial won't help, but Kahlers only appeared on the '86 import Charvels. The first numeral of the serial # on neck-through models indicates the year. For example, a Model 6 with serial # C7xxxxx would be an '87.

The serial number on my '86 model 4 is in the high 223XXX range, so I would assume yours was built around roughly the same time. If you post the link to the auction, or your own pic, or even a good description, the folks on here can tell you exactly what it is.
