I have to agree, nothing beats an OFR!! Just my opinion, although slightly biased.

                Re: Charvel M6 with OFR

I just put an OFR on my Model 6 a few days ago. I wasn't too unhappy with the JT-6, but it was starting to show its age. I expected the guitar to sound a bit different after the swap, but I couldn't believe how big a difference it made. Definitely more sustain, but the biggest things I noticed were way more acoustic volume & a much brighter tone. Right after I got it set up & was messing around unplugged, my wife said, "Jesus, that's loud! Doesn't that sound brighter to you? Now take it upstairs, I'm trying to watch 'Friends'." The increased brightness really took me by surprise, since this was already my brightest guitar. It has taken some getting used to, but it's been no problem to compensate with amp settings. I definitely don't feel the need to peg the midboost any more.

hmm, I have a schaller, which is die cast and less bright than a OFR and it sounds awesome, I did't wanted an OFR because I was afraid it would be to bright, and the schaller delivers
