I'm a friend of ZeNo, we both went to the guitar shop to check this guitar out...
It's true that the price is quite high, but again, here in Holland you see these Charvels rarely come by (wow, I think I have poet's blood [img]images/icons/wink.gif[/img] ).
And one thing... The guy that offers his SL2H for sale for $887, we buy these things at around 2400 euros (ok in new condition, but still, this is around $3000), second hand maybe 1600 euros (if you're lucky...).
So if this Charvel is comparable to the American standard (such as SL1, SL2), then it must be definitely worth it's price...(but is it comparable to the American standard?).
We both tried various other Jackson guitars (DK1 plus some Performers) and they all were nothing compared to the Charvel...
It just isn't comparable what Americans and Europeans pay for the same guitars... You guys are just f******* lucky to live on that side of the ocean...
