The Flyers were a less expensive version of the Pro, mostly used on lower end guitars at the time. Ironically, Gibson used a version of the Flyer on their Kahler equipped guitars.

Does the Pro also use that awkward whammy bar that just looks like it rises too high up from the face of the guitar?

Does anyone here know anything about the Kahler trem arm for Floyds that locks the trem block when not in use?

<font color="aqua">Kahler offered 2 different arms for those trems, the normal 3/16ths diameter bar and the 1/4" heavy version.

soloist: those were the "autolatch" systems that locked the trem when you swung the arm a certain way. They were mostly used on the Spyders but may have been available for others. They had special trem arms with a notch cut into the threaded end that engaged the locking lever when turned. </font>
