Hey are those early 90s Jackson Archtop Soloists the same as the 750s neck-wise? And are there more string thrus around in those??

Now I know what its like to dump a chunky chick and a few months later you see her again, but since then she lost weight, plus had a killer boob job and she is with another dude! I sold it looking like Janet Reno and now it looks like Angelina Jolie. I don’t feel too bad because it went to a great guy, but dang I would like to bang on that again! Killer job, Bud.

Hey Dave, that thing must be a pain in the ass to play standing up...

BTW, I think it looks killer with the gold hardware!

I'd slap some pups with gold covers in there, and switch the rings back to black. Still a sweet looking guitar though. Looks very "classy".

Re: My 750XL!

Thanks for the input fellers, it is appreciated. I thought more about Todd's(TEKKY) suggestion on the cover being black and thought about this: What if I used a gold baseplate on the floyd with black saddles(or vice versa) and used the black truss rod cover?
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">It looks cool now, irregardless! But, I think your idea of a black truss rod cover, and instead, a gold locking nut to replace the black one would look damn good! Also, you gotta get some matching gold pickup ring screws to match the rings, but that's minor.

She looks great, very classy, yes. I love the pickup rings on mine now, I think I'll take it to rehearsal tonight.

I like the gold on green, but I hate the PU rings. they make it to pimpish to my liking. Install some black ones and replace the tussrodcover with a black one as well and you have one hell of a sweet axe!

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I've only seen the mismatched colors for saddles/baseplates done once and it looked good, but it was in a different context.

It was a BC Rich Assassin with a graphic like the one depicted below. An extra detail in this guitar was that the bullet holes (depicted in the picture) were actual holes and went all the way through the body and the edges were scuffed up. The tremolo was black and only one of the saddles was chrome. This gave it a "surplus part" look to it and really added to the motif.

I think with your guitar the gold nut, tremolo, pickup rings, and machines are enough to make it sparkle without overkill.
