  • Information about my Charvel cx 592

    Hi Guys!
    My really getting crazy trying to get some information about one of my guitars, Charvel cx 592.
    I´ve been looking in the catalogs but coudn´t find it!...
    Is this a rare model?
    Please if anyone can help me to get some information about this guitar...

    Never heard of it. Does it say CX 592 on the head stock? Must be a very shortlived model in the early 90's CX Series.

        Pickups -
        Bridge: J55 Humbucker
        Middle: J110 single coil
        Neck: J55 Humbucker

        Controls -
        Volume / Tone / 5-way blade switch

        Hardware -
        JT280 (WB2) single locking tremolo
        Jackson/Gotoh Tuning machines

        Woods -
        Body: Poplar
        Neck: Maple
        Fretboard: Rosewood

        -- and yes... Most of the CX Series have the model name on the headstock.

            Yours would probably have the eagle-beak headstock because of licensing issues around the time this was released to the US market.

              At one point in time I was working on a re-design of what is called the MoAIP (Mother of All Info Pages). It was originally on the old Jackson/Charvel website before the FMIC purchase and site re-design. Plans were in the works to update the technology behind the MoAIP and place it on this site.

                        Strat-headstock too? If so, then you got one of the very early ones or one of the models that were for the non-US market. Congrats, relatively rare in that instance.
