I had a red one just like that. It was HSS and eagle beak though. Nice neck. The trem was a pos, WB-3 I believe. The electronics are not soldered. All the wires are like burned onto their contacts by like a tiny spot welder. Mine had a wire broken off when I got it so I soldered it back on. Its a relatively cheap guitar but that strat headstock makes it a bit more valuable imo. Enjoy it.

Yours would be the CX692. And the tremolo is the WB-2 (JT-280), originally made by Wilkinson. It was a bridge that was used extensively on many lower quality guitars throughout the late 80s/ early 90s.

Yeah, there is a guy on ebay selling brand new ones (nos) in the box. WB actually stands for Wammy Bar. Pretty funny. Yeah, I dont know what the difference is between a wb-2 and a wb-3. I know the one on my charvette has a totally square baseplate and all the others that Ive seen have the slightly rounded sides. Maybe thats it, I dont know.
