  • Almost done

Hi dudes, remember the Charvel model 2 project that I have been taking about for a long time, it's almost done... at last. The body was painted and clearcoated, then I decided to ad some decals to it, well, I polished the body, installed the neck, put the pots and the microswitch, but without wiring it. I have ended to put the decals on right now, and it looks great to me. I took a pic of the body with the neck alone, and another with the pots, switch, and the trem just over it, and ran out of film. I will try to install the pickup, trem with strings, and wire it by this week, to finish it and show some pics to see your opinion about my work. And something important, giving thanks to everyone who help me with their knoledge, and support, like: Budman68, mm2002, Chopper45hd, TEKKY, Newc, and Toejam. If there is someone left, remember I'm mentally ill, OK? Thanks, and the other post will be with some attachments.

PD. If the decals start to tear off, I will paint the body again, polish it, applied the decals, and then clearcoat it to protect the guitar look.

      Re: Almost done

It is finished now, except for the wires that aren't soldered yet though they are already placed in their places. Will picture it tomorrow, but have a little problem. When I tune it normal in E, some strings are buzzing in the first fret. I don't know if I have to adjust the JT6, shimed the neck or change the nut to a higher one. Help me please.

Check to make sure you have the neck adjusted properly-if it has too much back bow (or any) it may be buzzing. If it is actually buzzing ON the first fret, you may need to shim the nut a little bit. Let's see those pics!
