• Tremolo springs

I want to know if all the trem springs are the same, or the jackson are one type, the floyd another type. Need some for my JT6.

There are a few different type-some are slightly smaller, some are stiffer, but they should all work with any trem. If you are getting new ones, just make sure they are all the same.

      Re: Tremolo springs

There are all types of springs out there with different stiffness and length. You should definately try to have all the same springs on your trem. The only ones I know are the Fender springs - they have silver and black. Black is stiffer.

Actually it is true that some are too small in some configurations. I've actually had one or 2 that fell out of the sustain block, but I guess they could have been f-ups.....
