Was wondering if the string lock plate on the locking nut is the same on all Charvel models. Mine is a 87' Charvel Mod 6. Music shop set it up and when I got it back, locking plate was missing. My locknut has 3 flathead screws that screw into stringlock plate.

Re: String Lock Plates
Good Call
I went home tried looking under the locknut, didn't see anything, then got a flashlight, looked again but still didn't see anything. I checked one more angle and sure enough I seen the threads to the plate stuck in the truss rod route. Used a toothpick to wiggle out the piece and hooked back up. Played that night with it.
