Problems installing a Schaller Floyd on my Model 2

I am running into a few small problems installing a Schaller Floyd on my Model 2.

The Schaller Floyd needs a longer block as the Charvel Model 2 is not routed for a recessed Floyd.

Where in the world can I buy this longer block?

Try guitarpartsdepot.com. They sell replacement blocks for original floyds. I believe they should fit. You'll need a 42mm, I believe. [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img]

I may be wrong, but won't the block off the original JT6 fit on the Schaller?

I know the OFR and Schaller blocks are the same.

Jt-6 blocks are different. IIRC-parts from OFR and Schaller Floyds are interchangeable for the most part.

Yes, they're interchangable. What you could do is snag a floyd from eBay and switch the blocks and sell it again.
