Welcome, and if youre the same bprpc on ebay then you know all about bidding on tons o J/C parts. And isnt this a WTB ad? I think the rules forbid this. Read the forum rules and you will be very happy here. I hate to see the nutnoose unleashed on an unknowing newb. Well, sometimes its kinda fun.....

Welcome to the board. Rule No.1: Read the rules. Rule No 2. Be prepared to apologize, at least, 20 times for not reading them.:ROTF: Rule No.3: Do it like a man.

Hi all. I am just wondering something. I read the forum rules and didn't see anything pertaining to wtb posts. I'm taking it though that newbies are not permitted to post wtb's.
I am just asking as I am a newbie and definately don't want to break any rules or upset anyone, yet... I was hoping to post an wtb myself. It is just that I do not yet have a Charvel and don't use ebay. I was hoping that the forum brothers would be able help me out in getting the model that I am looking for. ( I am not stating what it is here as that would turn this into a wtb ).
So if anyone could please clarify this for me and let me know when and where I can post a wtb I would appreciate it greatly.
              thanks so much,
              Cory.

Buying and selling are relegated to the classifieds. Classified access is granted under pre-set conditions.

Sorry that you don't use eBay. But that, new music stores, and pawn shops are your only options at this point. I mean no offense by this, but just because you signed up, you're not a "forum brother". We don't know you from Adam. That's the reason for the pre-set conditions regarding classified access. There's a level of trust that the admins want to perpetuate for the classifieds.

So kick back, participate in the forum, learn something, and then you may get classifieds access.

And even he is fairly new!

Hey Tekky..no offense taken. I know how it is...I have been a member of another guitar forum for years and have seen alot of different characters roll through. I am willing to "pay my dues". I just wanted to make sure that i didn't start off on the wrong foot. As for finding my Charvel, I guess I will just have to be patient or get lucky.

Cory – in the rules it says 100 posts and membership of 45 days or more.

Understand that you don’t like buying on eBay & agree it’s risky (though I do it, as do 95% of guys on guitar forums). Still it’s fun looking at guitars on eBay, and if you see an interesting Charvel then I guess you could ask questions here about the advert, and maybe someone here will say “hey I have one of those for sale”. Just an idea.
