I would put a Duncan distortion in the bridge and change the pickguard to white or pearl. that's a nice one!

I actually like the BWB pickguard and want to keep it single coil as I have plenty of humbucker guitars. I want some alnico singles.

EMG's are great but I want a vintage tone so I'm looking for some alnicos. Probably some texas specials. I've liked their tone in the Fenders I've had in the past. I would dig a mid boost though!

EMG SA sound very much like stock fender pickups I think they are anico and the EMG S are ceramic magnets
