Snagged a Charvel Model 1A

I have a EMG-S's in my Model 4 neck and middle and they have the same tonal qualities as the Fender Custom 50's in my strat. I think the SA's have a bump in the mids and output that make them hotter and more "modern."

I finally got this home and was able to play it through an amp. These pickups actually sound pretty good. They are Jackson J-100's. Looks like they are an alnico-type pickup. Anyone know more about these.
