Re: has anyone in the u.s ordered from ishibashi

Shipping to the USA should be about $110-$130 (depending on the size, and weight). It's usually a flat rate for any guitar in a case or guitar-sized box. While I haven't ordered directly from them, I did (finally) receive a reply to one of several email inquiries from them, and I think their primary method of payment is via Bank Transfer to their bank (address/info is somewhere on their ordering page I think).
Basically you go to your bank and initiate the transfer after placing and verifying the order with Ishibashi.

That's all I know about it.

And that's made of basswood

I'd look through the UBox for an older model made of Alder/Poplar.

I love visiting Japanese sites just to read stuff like this:

"Now, I do not leak and give an of-special-make T-shirt to those who purchase the guitar of Jackson Stars! "

or

"* The above-mentioned goods are the goods stock of goods is now [ WebShop ]. since it has the number of limitation, it forgives, when sold-out -- ます Moreover, the time for delivery of the goods which are not introduced here and an inquiry of the selling price Here since -- please be lighthearted-alike and ask "

Re: has anyone in the u.s ordered from ishibashi

I recently bought a Maxon AD-999 delay from them and it arrived within a week and was WAAAY cheaper than anyone here in the US. They were prompt and courteous via e-mail.

I know a bunch of folks on the Telecaster board have bought Fenders and had great success.
I want REAL change. I want dead bodies littering the capitol.
