  • Help me ID my Charvel.

    Hey.

    I bough this Charvel last friday,

    Which model is it? And what year is it.

    the neck plate reads
    "331779

    PO Box 2344
    Fort Worth
    TX76113
    USA"

    It has a Schaller Floyd Rose on it, and stock Jackson PUs.

    That's a 375, Made in Japan between 89-91

            Well, it's either a 89, 90 or 91. It really doesn't matter. They're quality axes and that trem is particularly good. Go look through the Charvel Import forum, or try using the search function. There are some threads about dating attempts. Welcome...where are you from?

                Thanks, I am from Denmark

                I play mostly classic heavy metal/Trash fro mthe 80's. Metallica, Twisted Sister everything like that, so this axe will be perfect.

                What pickups would be good for one of these, to make it more 80's metal sounding?

                    The Jackson pickups should be good for nailing that 80s metal sound. It's what they were made for!
