Is the neck shape the same? I know the 6 is neck thru, but is the profile similar?

It's similar. The model 6 has a great neck actualy. On the thinner side of the neck thru's in my opinion.We must!

But in comparison the Model 6 neck is slightly thicker in profile than the Model 4. This is still true, though to a lesser extent, with the Charvel 650 compared to the Charvel 475. Those were the "second generation" Model Series Charvels. If you like the Model 4 neck you will be happy with the Model 6."Got a crazy feeling I don't understand,
