Charvel 475

guys im new to the forums and new to charvel i just purchased a charvel 475 i think correct me if im wrong

1. there is no markings on the head stock
2. the wiring seems to be all messed up the center pickup not even connect
3. there is a switch between the 2 knobs seems to turn all pickups off
4. what pickup do you guys recommend i play a little bit of everything
5. the volume know pulls up not sure if its anything at all
i purchase this guitar for 150

isn't it sad what some morons will do to a perfectly good guitar?

usually a HS is refinished to cover up a repair, I'd look real close at that to check it for damage.

I used that for many years on my OFR's. A piece af soft rubber tube. Had to do it, because the way I hold the arm would hurt my index finger in the long run. I used black rubber though, to minimize the gayness of it

That is called a "kill switch"
