Modded Model 3 Upgrade

Remember this axe? It was a 1986 model 3, modded to single hum and neon yellow paint. I just got the neck in from Warmoth....maple maple maple maple birdseye.....reverse head and fake Charvel logo.

That neck cost more than the whole guitar but it looks damn sweet Mark. Where do you get those Charvel logo's? I've wanted to refinish a few old Charvels but only found Jackson logos.

Is that a Warmoth 1-ply pickguard?

Also if this is a 1986 then the Floyd/JT-6 was also added.

Very cool. What's the story on the neck? It looks like the 12th fret dots are closely spaced like they should be. Do they do that? What about the neck pocket fit?

In terms of aesthetics, I find the maple board really works with the screaming yellow finish.

Single hum, birdseye maple board, reverse headstock... that guitar has a lot going for it! Really sweet axe! You guys have the coolest stuff.

That's not the old stlye guitar shape Charvel logo's like I've seen on here. Not sure if Marks is the new style or older, to small to see.

That's a proper USA Charvel logo.
The other one (with the pointy headstock in the logo)was only used on imports.
