  • Which Charvel is this?

I saw some on ebay but it didn't have a model number. Its a Humbucker with a slanted single coil in the neck. One volume and a 5(i think) way switch.
What model is it? Is it any good? Because ive been looking for a HS guitar for a while now....

    thanks
    Chris

Regular headstock or reverse? If regular, it sounds like a 275. If reverse, it could be a Predator, or a Model 3DR. Did it have the toothpaste (script) logo or guitar-shaped logo?

Its probably a predator or a 3dr. Did it have a reverse headstock? Guitar shaped,or Toothpaste logo? Could be a 275 also I think. Dinky or strat body?

Edit, Crap, you beat me to it.

It's a 275. They had a full-size strat body & a hum in the bridge in '89, then a dinky body with that nutty dual stacked hum setup in the bridge through '91. Here's the '89:

                    & the '90 - '91:

Out of all the HS Charvels, I'd pick a 550XL (which I have already) or a Model 5FX

Although I still fancy getting a Model 3DR one day.

I have a 275 with the full strat body. I just put a Full shred in it and wow. What a differance. more mids and smoother creamier tone. I love it and the neck ois nice and partialy stripped so it feels pretty nice.
