Sorry you "would have been" fighting me for that one. for a real quilt top that is 5A 1/8 thick that is cheap. most of the other quilt tops in this range are vaneer. I had a model A and it sold for $450 and new they were 1050. I did pay less because it had a chip in the back. For that quality its cheap. There has been some longs threads on how ugly that headstock is. Its nickname is the ballsack. I think the standard sold new for around $700-800, so 252 is a good deal. Since others don't like the headstock that just means better deals for us!

the HS looks like a scrotum. real quilt tops are rated by their quality. these charvels were AAAAA. veneer is a photo top, its fake or its really thin quilt. When you get the guitar you will see on the side an actual layer of quitled maple wood.

Actually a veneer is just a really thin slice of wood, it's different from a photoflame/quilt...

Man, what a bummer! The guitar was supposed to arrive today according to UPS tracking. I was psyched all day and couldn't wait to get home.

I get home, and no guitar. I check the UPS website and it's been rescheduled for delivery on Thursday.

If anyone cares, it finally arrived today. Other than having cracked pickup rings, it seems to be in excellent shape. Needs some new strings and good cleaning, then it's good to go!
