  • Model 6 directly from Japan :)

Here they are, finally. 4 months ago I bought this sweeeeeeeetie Charvie.
    Kickass guitar, really.
Here are some pics of my little....
    My Charvie!

I shielded the cavities and changed the PUs.
Now it features 3 SD PUs:
    -Hot Rails @ neck
    -Cool Rails @ middle
    -Invader @ bridge

Every PU has an on-off switch and it's own volume pot. More then this, every PU is splittable.
This '87 axe sounds really really great now....

Am I blind or are there half of the inlays missing?

Either we're both blind or the inlays stop at the 12th...

Nice looking guitar though, and crazy switch options!

Scalloped from the 12th fret up?.....looks that way to me anyways because you can see what looks like the shadows of the inlays left. I could be way off though.

          Looks like a scalloping job?

Model 6's are great instruments, congrats! Now, why was the fingerboard planed down so much? Especially on the upper fret area? I can see the inlays are disappearing and you can see the side dots on the face of the fretboard??

            In any case, congrats!!

                How are the pickups splitable?

Could be a push/pull on the vol to split.
Interesting wiring job if it works that way.

                          Sorry for the late reply.
Yes I split every PU with a push-pull pot
Unfortunatly, that bad-ass guy who sold me this axe, had re-freated the fingerboard. I don't know who is the fucking luthier who made the job. I just know that the inlays are almost destroyed and erased over the 7th fret....
                          I'll fix that too...one day

p.s. RacerX, just buy me a 6mpixel digital camera if you want more detailed pics, ok? :P
