Help Identifying V

I found a vintage Charvel at a local store today and need help identifying it.

It has a black Rhoads V body, neck through painted neck and rosewood fretboard. HSS, Kahler trem, sharkfins, its a supposed prototype and has no Charvel name on the regular pointy headstock.

Anyone play or own something like this? I'm thinking about buying it and want to know if it really is a Charvel and worth$250.

It has a matching black pickguard with one volume and 3 way.

Not a Charvel or Jackson, its actually a Hondo. They are known to be pretty much junk.

Most likely a knockoff by Hondo, Vester, Arbor, JB Player, or some other craptacular copycat company.

I love it when a store gets a guitar like this with no logo and tell someone its a prototype or it must be rare,or it looks like a J/C.

When in doubt, it's a "prototype" or better yet an "employee project"

I'd stay away from Hondo's...
