    Nice Model 3a! When you bought it at the pawn shop did it already have the original Floyd on it? If so, then that would make it one hell of a score in my book.

      Welcome to the board. One of my first Charvels was a model 3. I miss it. It was a great guitar and very solidly built.

          Yea Razor, I bought it just like you see it. I did buy a back cover and a trem bar from Budman. Rider, the blue looks real good as does the red and maple. Already thinking what mine would look like with maple! Thanks for the welcome Jackson, hope to be around a while and learn some things. Awesome forum here.
