Can you help identify this Charvel?

Hi Guys,
I'm new to the forum but have owned this Charvel from new since around 1985, I always thought it was a model 3A but am not too sure...any help would be appreciated.

Yup, Model 3A, but you can't have owned it from '85, because that is either an '87 or an '88 model.

I *love* the KV! Is that a custom-shop guitar?

Ah, so it is a 3A, many thanks, I have to say that it's so long ago since I bought the guitar my memory has faded, I may well have purchased it later, possibly 86 or 87 but I'm sure it was not as late as 88, maybe it was?? Yep the KV is a custom shop job recently purchased from DCGL.....plays like a dream and look blooming fantastic in the *flesh* :-)

I'm assuming he means reverse sharkfins like on a DX10D.

Thanks for the help on the charvel guys. I'm also glad you like the KV, she is rather pretty ain't she? I think I will start a thread over on the US Jackson section...just to see what everyone thinks of her
