Model 4?

Hey guys. I'm newer around here and I figured I should post some pics of my guitar. I posted in the USA Charvel section (my mistake) and people say that it's a model 4. But I noticed that the Model 4's have dot inlays. Any help?

First year Model 4's had dots (1986). 1987 and 1988 models had sharkies.

Because he's one of the "good" guys here that's always willing to step in and help. That's the way this place is and he's just one of the reasons -

By the way, just to add something, I'm not positive of the year (87 or 88) but at one point they called the Model 4's with sharkies, a "Model 4A"

I used to have a 1986 Model 4, a 1987 or 1988 Model 2, a Model 7, and a 1987 Model 6. All of them I wish I still had. I now have a 1987 Model 5 and a Model 1 mutt. I love the Model series imports. What I know about Charvel's and Jackson's I have learned from members of this board. Do you have any pics of the headstock and the rear of your Model 4? I would like to see the entire guitar in a pic, too.

Thanks Dave for the kind words, I appreciate that. I'll be needing a trem bar for my Model 1. Look for my email after the holidays. And, wasn't there a Model 4M that had the maple board?

I did have some better pics of it in my woods, but my computer had to be rebooted due to memory overload. I'll take some more when I get the chance.

Wow! She looks to be mint. No damage to the headstock, either. Thanks for the pics.

Yeah, the onley real damage she has is the backplate for the bridge claw. It has a pretty deep scratch in it, but it's all original so I'm not sure if I want to change it.
