  • case for Surfcaster? Where can I get one?

I bought a Charvel case, used, a month ago. It was a tweed hardshell case, with the Charvel guitar logo on the front, probably mid-90s? or so.

The problem is, it doesn't fit my early 90s Surfcaster. My Surfcaster is a bit longer than most strat-ish guitars. My strat fits nicely in the Charvel case.

So, what should I do? I'd like to get a Charvel case that fits my Surfcaster. What do they look like? Where might I get one?

    thanks for your thoughts - - -

Yeah, that tweed case is for a charvel model series pointy. I've had a few different surfcasters, and I think only one had the original case. And it was not even a real form fitting deal either. You should be able to fit that rig in a standard style G&G or similar case.

Your best bet is to take it along to a Music Go Round...Guitar Center, local mom & pop, maybe even a pawn shop to see if they have one you can fit it in too.

My SC-1 fits perfect in an SKB freedom case.
