Surfcasters my next guitar ownership obsession. Not really sure which model to get and the Jackson Surfers look nice too. I just dropped a wad on a Hamer Monaco Elite P-90 Goldtop so it's going to take awhile to getting my loose change built up again. Then it will be a Surfcaster hunt.
Perhaps someone may have some suggestions???????..........
The Rickenbacker-style soundhole is what you should look for, that´s what I´d call the key to a Surfcaster.
The Charvels are most sought after, but Jackson made some cool ones too later.
They´ve started to get pretty expensive though, but I guess I´m one of them you can blame for that.

Very Nice Set of Surfers There!!!

Awesome score! Those double neck Surfs are ultra rare. Kevin Easton said less than 50 came through Ft. Worth. By the way, Kai Rune, glad to know you're still enjoying that Jackson Surfcaster, hope it's still treating you well. Is your double neck's serial numbers consecutive? My cherry burst is, just wondering. Mine was: Serial: 381853 - 381854 dating to 1992.

        Gotta get away from here.

Hi Joe, cool to hear from you!

No, the serials on mine are 384171 - 384215.

According to seller it was a 93 model, that could make sense if your was a 92.
Seller also said that there were made 499 of these, but I doubt that, all the numbers I´ve heard are far far less. He said, or wrote.., that this was #171 of those 499, 171 would match the first serial#.
Somewhat I don´t think he really knew what he had

I´m really happy with this score and that Jackson Surf is a really cool piece of my collections, still in exelent condition too

You're right, people don't know what these double Surfs are. I got mine in a trade for a poorly refinned Kramer Nightswan!
