Here's the schematic for the active circuit:
As far as the trem, you could replace it with a Schaller or an Original Floyd Rose, since the JT-6 rear recess should be long enough to fit the OFR. You can also just replace the arm & bushing of the JT-6 with a floyd rose collared arm. It's not too hard to do, but it requires enlarging the hole slightly to fit the new bushing into the baseplate. Here's an old thread on doing that:
