POS bridge (el cheapo, not a schaller) is completely blocked. It's got a JB in the bridge now and I must say I'm really liking it in the basswood body. The original plan was to sand it back and refinish it, but i'm not sure now. I kind of like the look of it

I remember ESP had a pink tele reverse with a sanded multi color paint scheme back in the 80's in an ESP advertisement that looked very similar to this sanded paint scheme. Weird thing it was the guitarist from Mister Mister or Rod Stewart or something, not the first person you'd think of shred even though the guitar looked totally shred. Cool idea, I like it a lot!

Don't clear coat it... leave it raw.
Someday you might want to do a refin and stripping clear off of it will just be that much more work.
Yea... I'm lazy.
Plus it just looks more "shred" this way.
