You might have better luck asking in the Jackson Imports section rather than Charvel Imports, but in any case...

A former bandmate of mine had a PS3T, although I don't recall if it was Korean or Japanese. He bought it new for around $400 at Guitar Center, probably in around 1998. He did not take good care of it, and having the most corrosive sweat I've ever seen, had the metal parts rusting in no time, but it initially seemed like a good guitar. I played it a few times and set it up for him, and it didn't have any sharp fret ends or obvious flaws. The pickups are, as you mentioned, could stand to be replaced.

$125 is certainly a good price based on the condition. For the cost of new pickups and maybe other hardware upgrades, it would be equal to any current bolt-on Rhoads and probably still come out cheaper.
