  • replacement neck

    ok my last charvel perches was supposed to be my Frankenstein project guitar but it turned out to me in mint condition so I'm not touching it. ive found another body on ebay that I'm going for . no neck just the body. so what necks would fit it , could I warmoth it or would I need a stock charvel neck. want about a Jackson neck.

    My big eyes are looking yet I don't see anything. Pic? description of what you bought? link to auction? If We are just guessing, I'm going to say use a banjo neck, or a broom handle...

      Do you mean like an EVH Frankie, so you need a strathead? There are a few good places to get a strathead neck with the right heel size (2 1/4").

      I'd call them to be sure about the heel width.

      Also look for Customwoods necks on eBay. Haven't seen much from them lately though.

        Ive got 2 red 3a's. Both have necks swaps. One has a Charvel 375 neck and the other has a Jackson Rhoads EX neck. Both fit just like a stock neck, nice and tight in the pocket, and look totally factory. I like the idea of a custom mutt made with factory parts.
