Keeping in the same vein as my Vandenberg thread. Here is my latest Pawn Shop find...





Walked into a pawn shop here in town right after the Super Bowl and found this. These type of guitars don't really show up here too often and this one was mint. Look like someone replaced the bridge pickup then put it under the bed for a long time. Hardly any playwear on the frets, no donks or dinks. 1 small clearcoat scratch on the headstock is about all the issues this guitar has...

I mentioned it was after the Super Bowl. I had won $100 from a pool we had a work. Price for the Charvel? $150 including a J/C HSC. Couldn't believe it. I think my luck has dried up for a while...

Once again the color determined the price. These "wild" colors don't usually fly around here, so they mark them down quite low. At least at this shop they do. But they don't come around too often...

That's a great price for a really nice guitar!

There was one in this same color on Craigslist just a little while ago, but the guy wanted $399. A little high for me!

That is a nice find there!! I got lucky like that around Christmas time when I found mine at a Guitar Center clearance sale. Got it for $139.00 and it's the same color as yours. I actually didn't like the color at first when I saw it before with a price of $299.00. But it really grew on me! Good luck with it!

I liked this color from the get-go. A little more red than pink. Plus the price didn't hurt...
