Which PuPs are you running in your Model 5/6?

I have a Full Shred set in my Jackson Dinky (alder, maple/rosewood OFR) and it kills! Very full and articulate.

Put a Full Shred in my 5a (maple neck thru, poplar wings), and it doesn't have the same fullness.

I'm tempted to put in a SD Distortion and see how it sounds, but I'm a little worried about the bottom end being flabby.

I have an EMG 81 in my Model 6. Sounds great. Also a big fan of DiMarzio SD. Trying to put one in my Kelly when I get the hang of this soldering thing.

my 5's and 6's have stock pups in them, However I have a set of ZW EMG's i'm going to put in a Black Model 5 I have..

My 650xl has a Distortion/Cool Rails/Hot Rails combo. Yanked out the mid boost and hooked each pickup to its own volume. I prefer it much better this way.

Dimarzio SD sounds greta in my model 2 . I was a ctually surprisingly impressed.
