Nice one! Black Cherry is a great color. My first Charvel was a Model 6. It led to a few more, but it's still one of my favorite guitars ever, and the axe that really got me back into playing seriously after a long layoff. Welcome to the JCF, btw.

thanks guys...that guitar actually has been all to hell. the previous owner got mad and threw it, breaking it in like 3 pieces. the bottom part of the body from controls down broke off and the headstock broke off as well. one helluva luthier put it back with epoxy and touched it up and it looks brand new.

A Charvel was my first Charvel / Jackson guitar as well. It was a pearl white 86 with a Kahler.

thanks dutch, you just need to comb ebay like a hawk. 86 and back is what years you need to look for. they discontinued the kahler models starting 87
