I bought my Model 6 brand new in 1988 and put EMG's in. A few years later I changed out the stock Jackson whammy bar with a Floyd-licenced unit from WD Music--and kind of unusual; a Floyd with individually adjustable saddles like a strat. I've seen guitars come and go over the years but my Model 6 remains number 1. Another interesting side note--about a week after I bought the guitar one of the sharktooth inlays(9th fret) cracked. The dealer I bought it from sent it back (to Ft. Worth) and about a week later it returned fixed very nicely.
