Model 5 owner new to board

Hi

I've owned an 87 charvel model 5 for about 5 years now. i dont think ive ever played a better guitar, and for this reason ive joined my first forum. its good to see there are people taking an avid interest in these instruments, they have incredible build quality.

ill get pictures of it soon to share its sweet charvy goodness.

Welcome. Just saw a model 5 in the UK here go for £360! No idea how many dollars that is right now but can't be far off $700. Nice guitar, no chance of me getting one for a while!

Geez, that looks really nice in red...hmmm maybe I need another one to go with my cobalt 86 Mod 5 LOL! I agree with you for sure - these are great guitars - and I like the fact that the neck-through design gives a very different sonic signature than my bolt-on models. And did I say I love the RED?!
