  • Model series neck, Warmoth strat body

    Guys,

Ok, searched the forum, but am unclear: will a Model series 22-fret neck perfectly fit a Warmoth standard Strat body?

    Nope.
    Neck pocket is too big.
You will have to shim the neck (2 1/4" butt) to fit the Strat body (2 3/16") neck pocket.

I think what rjohnstone means, is that the Model neck heel is too big (2-1/4"), and the Warmoth pocket is too small (2-3/16").

Something like that... it's too early in the morning.

you can get a strat body from usacustomguitars.com that will fit a model series neck. just call them and specify. or you can order a body from mojobodies.com (a JCF forum member) and he'll make it specific for that neck.
