Yeah. I had a refin in mind when I bought it (seller's photo wasn't very good), but after seeing it in the flesh, a refin was no longer an option. While the 750XL is my best playing guitar, this is my best sounding one. I love it!
Wow, some really nice collections here! I have but one Model series axe - an '87 Model 3 that has been with me since 1989. She's been my main axe since then and has seen her share of smoky barrooms and the like. She's batllescarred alright; a player as some would say. Used to be covered in stickers and then once I removed them I saw what bad shape her paint was in. I am currently looking around for someone to repaint her. The tone knob got busted off at one of the last shows I ever played and I have since disconnected it. The pups sound great though and she plays like butter. You know the old cliche that "it feels like an extension of my arm", well this one is the real deal. Seriously better feel, action, intonation, tuning stability, etc than anything I've ever played. This is the perfect neck for my hands. I will never part with her.
