Thank you! I had that pickguard and neck for almost one year before I found the 1A on eBay. I'm going to have my bro-in-law match the aged white on the body and paint the headstock to match.

sorry about that!

I use a detailing wax designed for Motorcycles and as for the fretboards, some I have darkened using Feibings Dye (Firecrackle 6) but the others I just make sure they're conditioned.

so, finally a pic of the elusive candy apple red Model 2. there must not have been many made in this color.

I've only ever seen two of these, and one was the one posted recently which was refin'ed a different color.
