It could easily be a knockoff. Is there a neckplate or a serial? $300 would be good if it came with the HS case.

Overpriced...a real model 1 with no mods (ie headstock not sanded down) went for $240 recently:

After looking at the other pics on GBase, yea... it's been refinished.
Pretty bad paint job if you ask me.
Needs some serious quality time with a buffer.
