However i could buy it without the new trem.
So i'd like to know how would you pay for it in that condition.
Thanx

OK you can buy it for less with the original trem is that what you mean?.Ask him whats wrong with the original trem.I bet its just fine and only needs a good cleaning.
Don't tell him that.Thats between you and everyone else here.Really? well screw Mark Twain.

Yeah, but Don, that was a highly unusual sale. They generally are nearly a grand lower than that. The solid colors are worth less, although they do have matching heads.
I'd say that the powder blue above with its missing parts and all is probably worth $500 US. Charvellotic, you're in Italy, I bet there's not many 750's in Italy, so it could be worth more. How much is the dude asking for it?"Got a crazy feeling I don't understand,
Gotta get away from here.
Feelin' like I shoulda kept my feet on the ground
Waitin' for the sun to appear..."

[quote=charvellotic;942536]Hi to all.
I've find this charvel 750xl.
The original bridge pickup and a new trem are included.
It needs the neck pickup, the switch selector and there are some scratch as you can see in the photo.
The serial is C906357.
I'd like to know the right price to pay for it.
I sold an old 750xl it had a huge ding on it right in the front, and some other wear. It sold for around 375 on ebay. Ignore the one that sold for 1595, another one that was identical sold for aorund 1000. You will always get lowballers that say these guitars are worth only 300-400 bucks, it's just not true. The value is what a willing buyer will pay, and I know MANY willing buyers who pay more than that.
Anyways, I would pay up to 400 for it, but up to 500 if I were stoked about it.

He asked me 400 euros
It would be better to keep the original trem, as the new one is a cheap copy.
If the original trem is beyond repair, get a real Schaller like the other guys mentioned, not that cheap p.o.s. he is trying to sell. The guitar is good enough to warrant a top quality trem and top quality pickups.

On another note:
I would ask for a picture showing how far off the thick E-string is from the fingerboard. A picture taken perpendicular to the fingerboard would do it.
