Does anyone know if you can put a humbucker in the bridge of the 1A?

Yep, it has a swimming pool route. IIRC, someone here said the route is a bit shallow, so you may need to shorten your mounting screws so they clear the bottom.

Yep, but just like dg said, you have to shorten the pickup height adjustment screws. I added a SD Distortion to my M1. Here are a couple pics of mine:

There is a black 1a on e-bay with a strat neck on it.I was considering buying it if I could add a humbucker. My model 3 had a bath tub in it so I figured there was a chance the 1a would. Thanks guys.
