  • I made my model 4 more versatile :o

Over 2 and a half years ago I got my first ever guitar, a 1988 Sharkie model 4. Anyway she's staying in Amsterdam now while I study in Edinburgh but while I'm here for the summer I figured I'd mess her up some more. I already took out the midboost and the electronics months ago when I was trying pickup over pickup for her (FullShred, FullShred ceramic, FullShred alnico 8, Miracle Man, Custom and Distortion) but I've finally settled for something right now, she's all I could need:

    Ohhh yeah hehehe...

The first pot is a volume pot. The second is a tone pot. It's 250K with a .022 cap.

The Distortion's switch is a 3 way which works on/off/on straight to the output.
The switch right on top of it is a split, I orientated it horizontally.
The rest are there to fill in the holes. I forgot to put the knobs on it though DOH.

Anyway she sounds better than ever! I was never using those single coils since I got my single hum Kramer Stagemaster so I figured they might as well go to someone who'd make good use of them. So there ya go. My model 4 unibucker.
Working...
