I love my Model series Charvels. I have almost every model they made. I love my few USA Charvels as well. But I will be dammed to take a $1700+ guitar to a gig where I am making less than $100. Flimsy stages and crazy drunk people. As much as I love my SD Charvels why should I put them at risk. I think models series guitars rock. Slap a Floyd on it any maybe a pickup and you have a really decent guitar.
