  • Model 2 rosewood boards only?

I know the red ones are rare, but I haven't seen any pictures of a maple board model 2. Did they only make model 2s with rosewood fretboards or are the maple boards just that rare?

they only made them with rosewood boards. Folks occasionally get confused by the Model 1s, which were also single hum and did have maple boards. The main difference, apart from the fretboard, is that the M1s have v-trems & the M2s have locking trems

Thanks for the quick replies guys. I knew the model 1s had the maple board but I was hoping there were some model 2s out there with them.
