If Caparison does top mounted Floyds, I know of atleast one other company, Kramer, they have it as stock on all American Models

That's interesting. I'm sort of suspecting that theirs are "eddified" though (blocked, or sitting on the surface of the guitar)...and they apparently don't do the non-recessed + pull-up route, like Caparison does.

they Block the one on the "1984", but the others are fully floating

That's a score! Killer guitar. Did it just live in the guy's closet? That paint scheme is majorly cool.
