  • Model 88 Cleaned up...Pix Heavy

Didn't get a good headstock picture. It's as clean as the rest of the guitar.
Previous owner added EMG and tone control.

There is just a bit of scuffing where the sticker was.
It's not so deep that it can't be buffed out. I still need
to do that. My pinky and ring finger tend to scratch there,
I'm not a big strummer type!. I guess I need to wear a
    modified glove to protect it.

It looks even better in these pics than the last set. Thanks for posting them. Lute players often anchored their little fingers - you may be onto something. Play a lot of renaissance metal?

I have been floundering around trying to figure out my next purchase, but I am leaning toward an import Charvel at this point. Seem like outstanding bang-for-the-buck guitars.

          Thanks,
I will most likely never sell this one. I love it.
The non recessed trem has some lift to it, and it
has very good sustain for a trem guitar. I love the
look of the african mahogany on it, too. Virtually no dings.

I was watching that one, but for me the added tone knob ruins it. Looks good tho!

Sweet, one of these days I hope I can score an 88. Hell even if it's in shambles, I won't mind refinishing it.

              Beautiful guitar nonetheless Cygnus!

I agree, I don't know why they did that, I don't bother with the tone control.
I also am not too crazy about the EMG there. It sounds very good, but I'd rather know what the orginal Jackson pup was like.

The J-95 is a high output mid range pickup. They called it a wide frequency pickup. They tend to be rather dark sounding in mahogony, still sound killerIMO.
                      Really? well screw Mark Twain.
